ABOUT ME / THE LONG VERSION
A signal that started with old computers.
My passion for technology began early. My father would bring home old computers and my parents gave me the freedom to experiment. DOS, BASIC, Borland C++, electronics, Linux and networks grew from that hands-on playground. I am largely self-taught, driven by curiosity and the need to understand what is happening underneath the interface.
Someone I regarded highly helped shape that curiosity. He was a HAM operator, electronics enthusiast and guitar player who never assumed a child could not understand a difficult idea. His patience stayed with me. Today I carry on many of those interests through radio, electronics and music.
